The Kindness Workshop is an event to celebrate and talk about Blossom's January 2010 launch of our global community service project Kindness Reminder. This is a local pre-event before the Monday launch of the global initiative. Other pre-events from around the world will be held during this week too.
At this event youth volunteers will receive a free Get One & Give One kit as well as compile a list of ways to pay it forward with kindness, talk about times they remember being kind to others and have received kindness from someone else. The compiled lists will help other Kindness Reminder participants by becoming part of our help and suggestions on the site. The Get One & Give One kit can be previewed at the Kindness Reminder website.
This event is limited to 30 youth volunteers and registration is on a first come/first served basis. We always ask that you only register if you know you can attend. A light snack and drinks will be available at no cost to volunteers. Dress comfortably and be ready to give input. Your thoughts and advice count!
